U2 were the first musical guests on Jimmy Fallon’s debut on The Tonight Show. The day before the show was aired, about 100 U2.com members were invited to watch U2 quickly rehearse Invisible on “Top of the Rock”, which is the rooftop of 30 Rockefeller Plaza where the Tonight Show is filmed.

While no cameras were allowed for the audience members, those on the lower observation deck were able to catch a sneak peak of the quick performance.
The band played Invisible with the Rutgers Marching Band as percussion back-up; and later in the studio played an acoustic version of Ordinary Love.
