U2 played their first of two concerts in Toronto, Ontario, their first show in the Canadian city since a July 2011 performance on the 360 Tour performance. More recently, they returned to Canada after a five day stretch of shows in Chicago.
Early in the show, Out Of Control returned to the set in the second slot. It had missed three straight shows, with Gloria occupying the second slot twice and The Electric Co. once. Elevation also returned to the set after missing four straight shows.
Stuck In A Moment was on the setlist after Elevation, but Bono pulled the U2 tribute band Acrobat, of which notable U2 fan and documentary subject Mark Baker (more commonly known as U2BROTHR on social media) is the bassist, onstage to play Desire alongside them. Acrobat’s vocalist sung lead on Desire, with Bono and The Edge contributing backing vocals. After the impromptu performance, U2 continued with Stuck In A Moment, which returned to the set after missing all five Chicago concerts (U2gigs.com).
