Seats: General Admission – Front Row Centre
Although it was tiring to go from first show and back into the queue (I did have a chance to go back to the hostel to shower and change), napping all morning helped me recover. The queue was far more organized and coordinated with Monterrey Security – thanks in large part to Amber’s (Chicago) effort. It was much more smooth going into the venue, with the staff lining us up in the gates and checking and hole punching our tickets, wristbanding us, and getting us in. I was able to claim front row centre again – admittedly my favourite spot in the stadium because you can see all of the band up close for the majority of the concert. It was great to be beside Brad (DC), Chris (Winnipeg), and Brad (San Fran) for the show. U2 was amazing that night – a huge difference from the night before, and the show was memorable. A girl puked a few rows behind us, 2 women were kicked out in the middle of the show (a few rows back on my right), and Your Blue Room was finally played! Amazing Grace was added at the end of One, and I am starting to take a liking to the new lighted hanging microphone during Ultra Violet and With Or Without You.
