May 14, 2017 – Seattle

Location: ‘Tree-Stage’, Rail Front Row Centre

My friends and I drove to Seattle right after the Vancouver show in order to get a good spot in the GA line. As someone who doesn’t live along the Pacific coast, I was pleasantly surprised to find the two cities really close to each other. I think I was number 45 in the queue and was able to make it to the tip of the ‘tree-stage’ facing down the catwalk. The tree-stage was much lower to the ground and closer to fans, which made it ideal to take photos with my 55mm lens.

The concert was slightly different, with Bono dropping the ‘the people in power is greater than the people in power’ tongue twister, the addition of Bad, and the closing song with I Will Follow.

I was a little sad I couldn’t continue on the ‘Great U2 Amazing Race’ to Santa Clara, but am okay to wait until I head to back to Europe to see U2 and my GA friends.
